Kicking it back in Rockwall, TX 

Saturday night, should we stay home? No way! We found something to do. An easy (not so breezy) evening of fun.  Rockwall hosts a live music venue on the patio in their quaint downtown plaza.

We brought our own chairs, food and drink (alcohol of course!)

If you aren't into planning ahead, takeout is available from several restaurants in the square, oh and good luck scoring a table and chairs.  They fill up fast, so get there early.

We enjoyed live music from the Paul Harrington Band  They played jazz and blues.  The harmonica player was pretty awesome and the guitar sounds were sweet with cool blues riffs.  This band puts out some cool music that's great for just sitting back and enjoying.  A different band and genre play every Sat from May-Aug, - check it out, we'll be back for sure!

We are empty-nesters that spend our free time discovering exciting places, trying new things, and sampling the cuisines around the Dallas area.

We have been together since high school and so have grown to have many varied interests.  Rudy loves live music, especially jazz.  He also is a connoisseur of well-crafted barbecue and loves to try out new recipes in the kitchen.  One of his favorite things to do is chop veggies.

Sandra loves dancing and any kind of wine that is made with grapes.  She loves to garden and is the proud owner of a patch of  jalapeno plants that are almost as tall as she is.  One of her favorite things to do is rock out to the radio in the car.
